Rough Riders Make A Statement In NLFL Opener

River City started out strong and didn't look back by torching the Midwestern Wildcats 70-6. QB Nate Samas threw for 230 yards on only 7 completions and added 5 touchdown passes.

They say that defense wins championships. Well if this game was full of "D" with 4 ints all return for touchdowns (Tay Tay Basely, John Goode, Ethan Grimsled and JiVonte Davis)

Next up for the Rough Riders will be a home game against the Tri City Bulldogs. This will be the first ever Hall Of Fame inductions for 20 ex players.

Riders Have No Problem With Chargers.

Nothing better than to start the 2022 season than avenging a 2021 pre-season loss to the Milwaukee County Chargers. The Rough Riders did it in big fashion by pitching a shutout 38-0.

River City starts off the 2022 Northern Lights Football League regular season Saturday May 7th against the Mid-Western Wildcats at G.E.T High School at 5pm
