Rough Riders Start Slow But Pour It On The Raiders
The Rough Riders have a much better start to the 2025 season than they did a year ago. A new look RR team on paper in 2025 will have them poised to make a championship run and a possible trip back to Florida for nationals. Definitely to early to tell but if their game was any indication, the Rough Riders will be just fine. A familiar face is back in the fold River City can go as far as he can take them. QB Nate Samas is back from a two year departure (health reason). With a revamped O line, he fell right where he left off during his MVP season of 2023. Samas completed 13 of 19 passes for 327 yards and 3 TDs. The Rough Riders take care of business with a strong 43-6 victory over the Fox River Raiders

River City Wins Ugly Against Red Cedar Raptors
To say that the victory over the Red Cedar Raptors was a ____show you would be correct. This game was one penalty after the next. The Rough Rider team had more penalty yards than the Raptors had total on offense. Needless to sat that if River City plays this way in future games, the season will not look good for them, despite the 2 - 0 start.
